Our team of advocates ensure parents have access to information and supports to help their children thrive!
There are more than 38,000 students affected by some type of disability in Miami-Dade County. When families first encounter a medical diagnosis and the challenges of parenting children with special needs, they are faced with a multitude of life altering decisions about health, services, supports, employment, housing, education, health insurance and mixed emotions. As advocates we help parents of children and young adults with disabilities access information and supports to increase knowledge about their child's condition. Your donations serve as a major sustainability source of financial support for expenses not funded by grants. More than 2,000 families benefit from your generosity every year. If you have benefited from the support and advocacy from our organization, please give today!
