The Family Engagement Picnic is an all-day event hosted by Parent to Parent of Miami every year at Indian Hammocks Park. Families enjoy good food, music, games, raffles and rides. The Family Picnic attracts over 400 participants including families served, community agencies and partners, board members and staff.
This casual and engaging environment known as "The Picnic" is the perfect forum for families to connect to other families experiencing similar challenges. It is also a great opportunity for families to meet face to face with the Education & Support Specialist providing them support plus staff members who they've been in contact with via phone, e-mail, or during workshops.
